Highlights of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team's 1985 season. After the passing of Bear Bryant in 1983, Alabama football hit a slump, and 1985 was the first season where things began to feel like they could get back to "normal," which for Bama means a lot of winning! Under coach Ray Perkins, the Tide went 9-2-1 after a losing season in '84, so excitement was returning. One of those wins was in the Aloha Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii against USC. The season also included a dramatic comeback victory over Georgia, and an "Iron Bowl" against Auburn that saw multiple lead changes in the fourth quarter, culminating with "The Kick" by Van Tiffin at the end of that game. This season also features Alabama's last official tie game.

Technical: VHS tape, mono audio, with a very inconsistent video calibration from scene to scene, requiring multiple video levels and chroma adjustments. One small segment edited to please the algorithm. Upconverted to 1080p60 to preserve motion and image quality.
