How much does a bass amp's speaker size actually matter from the audience perspective?

In this video, my audio engineer friend Andy and I test out three different speakers in his new venue The Bird Room. We compare 1x15, 4x10, and 2x12 Ampeg bass cabs and assess their tonal differences from an audience perspective AND a stage perspective using some amazing microphones. This is a fun and casual conversation about sound, science, and bass gear.
