Description:

Bombay Coast is one of the first tracks where I reps my birthplace, my city Mumbai. But the juxtaposition is clear – The ode to the city, is not about the new and developed Mumbai showcased to the world, but the soul and heart; of Bombay.

Rapping over a tightly produced Boom-Bap beat (a subgenre prominent during the golden age of hip-hop), to allude to the similarities between the soul of hip-hop and the spirit of Bombay. The drive to push the boundaries, to do more. Never remaining stagnant, constantly creating new narratives and allowing new voices to be heard.

Ultimately, the never say die spirit of this city of dreams, which ironically never sleeps, is the true essence of Bombay.
