Other notes: For the first Saturday of April, Dylan had made plans to visit Ohio for the weekend, and we were originally gonna do North Baltimore's 3T22B and then either Wapakoneta or Fostoria and Clyde, but sadly, he ended up having to bail on those plans. So instead, the four of us decided to do Grand Rapids' 3T22 and then Auburn's other correctly wired Thunderbolt. As we were setting up in Grand Rapids, someone from a nearby building came out and told us that the siren hadn't gone off in a while. After a few minutes of debating whether or not we should divert, me and Alex split up and diverted to the 7V8 just south of town while Benicio and Connor stuck around at the 3T22. Ultimately, BOTH sirens ended up failing, which was honestly quite hilarious. Thankfully though, Auburn still went as planned. This time around, DeKalb County tested on time and they toned out Auburn's sirens first. While this 'bolt was not as loud as Satanbolt from 3 days prior, it was still very very loud, especially from in front of the building directly across the road from it. From my memory, I'd say this one was probably around the same volume as Hollansburg or Wilder Elementary in Louisville. This was definitely a fun test and day with the boys, even with some stuff not going as originally anticipated. Enjoy!
