Friends! Today we’re talking about materials & material palettes for interior design and I do my best to walk you through my thought process when balancing materials in a space.

Ultimately, with most spaces it comes down to incorporating contrasting materials (whether they be contrasting in value, texture, color, or just vibe) which will make your space feel just more interesting and balanced and good.I also quickly call out my big issue with the idea of “trending materials” that are destined to become dated.
