Our first tracktime since pre-lockdown and our good friend Darren was kind enough to let us jump in his Clio 200 Cup so we could compare it on track to our 172. Having owned the Clio 197 before, we were aware of how good the Mk3 Clio Sports are but it has been a while since we've driven one. As the video shows, we were very quickly reminded just how special they are to drive on track.

Car specs:

Clio RS 172:
Intake - Ramair induction kit
Exhaust - decat, custom stainless catback
Front suspension - BC DS coilovers with 3 degrees negative camber (adjustable top mounts, camber bolts)
Rear suspension - BC DS 'coilovers', rear axle shim plates (camber and toe adjustments)
Front Brakes - Ferodo DS1.11 pads, Brembo HC plain disks, braided brake lines
Rear Brakes - Pagid pro race pads, Brembo HC plain disks, braided brake lines
Tyres - Yokohama AD08R 195/50/15
Interior - rear cage, perspex front windows, fully stripped

Clio 200 Cup:

Front Brakes - Ferodo DS1.11 pads

Exhaust - Milltek
Suspension - Eibach lowering springs
Tyres - Semi-slick rally tyres
Interior - all spare seats removed, short-shift kit, bucket seat.
