•1/2 kg bitter gourd
•1.5 tbsp salt
•1 tsp turmeric powder
•1 cup butter milk
•small size tamarind ball
•4 - 5 tbsp oil
•2 tbsp chanadal
•1 tbsp urad dal
•1 tbsp coriander seeds
•1 tsp cumin seeds
•4 - 5 tbsp chilli powder
•1/2 cup garlic pods
•Lemon size tamarind
•4 sprigs curry leaves
•50gms jaggery or sugar
