Pumping for long distance…
My current personal records with different FWs:
Sirus XXL 156cm 2000cm2 (03.09.2024): 55min for 11.7km
Sirus L 116cm 1450cm2 (06.09.3024): 40min for 8.8km
Sirus XL 136cm 1700cm2(23.09.2024): 60min for 11.8km
Sirus 3XL 186cm 2400cm2 (25.09.2024): 90min for 17km

How??
Weight? 62kg… light but there are giant Sirus Frontwings available 😉
Physical condition? Fit but I don’t do particular extra cardio exercises. Average week: 3 sessions (pumpfoil, wingfoil or supfoil) for 1 to 1.5 hours each 💪
Gear? Sirus Frontwings are amazing pump machines 🫶🏼 but they don’t pump by themselves!
Technique 🤔? That’s the KEY!! Optimisation of the pump technique makes the difference: use as little energy as possible pushing at the right time on the board (never going against the foil making you push water for nothing), conserve this energy and focus on relaxing!! relax almost half the time at max and min elevation…
Avoid the mistake to push inefficiently at the wrong time.
When you pitch up don’t push on your front foot to start descending.
Transfer smoothly your weight to pitch down first.
When you pitch down don’t push on your back foot to start climbing.
Transfer smoothly your weight to level the board first.

Important as well: have fun and enjoy 😉 it helps to relax ☺️

Setup:
FW Sirus 3XL, XXL, XL and L
Kluber board 80
Mast HM79 and HM70
Stab Veloce 47H and 44H and Sirus 50
Rider 62kg
