The Soviet BMP infantry fighting vehicle is the center of some very mixed opinions. As is typical with Soviet designs, many claim that it was a horribly cramped deathtrap. While the BMP-1 did have some shortcomings, it is one of the most significant armored fighting vehicles every created. I hope I can explain why.
