In this video you catch me trying to target early season tench on my local river. This river is very tricky but has thrown up some good carp, roach, bream and pike for me in the past. Although the tench were either not in my swim or not on the feed, i was compensated by a big river bream for my efforts. I was fishing on both a feeder at distance and a pole in the margins using the usual natural bait selections (maggot, casters & hemp) as well as sticky chocolate flavour pellets and strawberry flavoured sweetcorn.
