Day 7: We are starting from Mysore to Humpi, it's quite a long journey, around 450 kms. Our first halt is at Srirangapatana, the place where Tipu Sultan Fort is situated and the place where the British defeated Tipu which results to his death. We can see the monument on the place where Tipu was found dead and a detailed description on his death
Spending some quality time there, we resumed our journey to Shravanabelagola, to see the Statue of "The Gommateshwara Bahubali" one that reached a peak in Architectural and sculptural activity. Every 12 years thousands of devotees come here for the festival " Mahamastakabhisheka". Resumed our journey from there ended up in a Punjabi Dhaba and call it a day.
