In this van life video, we’ve been in Utah for a couple of weeks and we continue on with our adventures. We start out in Brigham City where we travel to the Pink Lake. From there we head to the Bonneville Salt Flats. After that, we spend some time at Meadow Hot Springs. Next, is Zion National Park where we do the Canyon Overlook Trail, see the Narrows, and complete The Emerald Pools Hike. Then, we go to Buckskin Gulch and finally, Bryce Canyon National Park.

How old are you and Andy?
We’re both 29. I’m 55 days older than him!

How long have you lived in your van?
We started living in the van the 3rd week of July 2022.

What are your real world jobs?
I’m a high school teacher and Andy works in the welding industry.

How do you afford to go a whole year without jobs?
We agreed we won’t ever touch the money in our savings and investments accounts or the money we set aside for a down-payment on our future first home.
We each set aside a good chunk of money from our paychecks for this year of travel.
We sold our vehicles after buying the van, which helped a lot.
And we both agree that if we run out of money earlier than we expected, that would mean it’s time to call it and head back to the real world!
