It was the 6th of September 2022 at around 08.15 we set off to climb the great Ben Nevis little did Jayne know, but once we had reached the top of ben Nevis with our two great friends as witnesses i was going to ask her to marry me, jayne had no idea I was going to do this it was planned for months. I'd spoke to her daughter and she gave me her blessing so onwards with my plans me whole family knew and kept the secret, I even had on several occasional discussions dismiss to jayne the thought of ever getting married even as close as days before we set off. her response was of shock even to the point of her just looking at me and the ring before she said YES
ben as I've said hold a part of our hearts as it is the highest point of the UK which means we won't her any higher on foot so this makes us feel that we are closer to out lost love ones so they was there at our sides when I asked her and she said yes
