Taking over an island to establish a building hub in the OW, to divert all building material streams away from the capitol, I end up in a war with Silva. But when that is out of the way, I can start rerouting routes in the OW, plus the feed to the NW and EN. With a lot of organising, selling ships, setting up of routes, time flies. The first scholars go up, who I provide with a docklands based on the build island, breaking the isolationary nature I planned for it. But I tried to be gentle, no big volumes on the ships going out. On the building materials island, I meanwhile have a huge shortage of steel. To manage this, I use docklands on smaller island to scale up my influx of steel from imports to organise a floating and fixed stock on more locations for the island. Including the build island in the OW. With this as a base, production ramps up and any stall disappears. Also I consider setting up some input streams from other islands with base products, to make the island less dependant on Docklands. This upscaling cost a total of at least 100k upkeep, between all industries, ships and docklands. But with the current base it should be possible to start scaling up Crown Falls into investors and beyond.
