Interesting Facts :
There used to be a country-wide mushaira at the Lyallpur Cotton Mill. In 1958, a mushaira was held under the chairmanship of Jigar Murad Abadi. The stanza was like ٜ ٜ The place of prostration is not found on lovers. After different poets, Sagar Siddiqui recited his ghazal. The audience stood up and applauded. On his turn, Jigar Moradabadi said that there is no need for my ghazal, the mushaira ghazal has been done and he tore his ghazal on the stage.
