“It's an enormous amount of evidence that speaks to these crimes, that speaks to violations of these very fundamental principles.”
Haydee Dijkstal, barrister and Chief Counsel at the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP), breaks down the significance of evidence presented in the new Al Jazeera Investigative Unit documentary ‘Gaza’, during a Panel discussion following a sold-out screening of the film in Westminster on Thursday.
The film exposes Israeli war crimes through images and videos shared by Israeli soldiers, highlighting crimes like intentional attacks on civilians and using starvation as warfare.
Dijkstal also addresses the International Criminal Court’s process in issuing arrest warrants, expressing concerns over delays.
