I was discussion Cloudflare on my websites with a friend who was convinced Cloudflare being a CDN only. But I don't use the CDN features. I just use the security features. I had a hard time in the past fighting against script kiddies trying to get into my servers. After I established a full Cloudflare setup, it stopped immediately and now the servers do what they are supposed to do: Serving websites.
