Learn how to make pottery! Kids learn how to use the push and pinch techniques used when making pottery while they create their own! They get to be creative choosing what "container" they want. The same methods are used with or without a pottery wheel, so no worries if you don't have one. This lesson is great for home-school, class rooms, art parties, art camps and personal lessons. In this kids art lesson we are going to get creative making teacups, vases, or whatever container kids want to create with clay. We will learn how to mold clay, sculpting techniques, and the special tools used when working with clay. This lesson will guide you through all of the steps and techniques necessary for this project and comes with this video. This makes teaching and learning art fun and easy. Older kids can simply read the lesson plan if you wish.
