Mood Blanket Tutorial :    • Solid Granny Square & JAYG 🌟 PERFECT ...

If you are wanting to make your squares bigger, just follow the same sequence for each round.
You'll always have 2dc, ch2, 2dc in the corners and your dc's on the sides will increase incrementally (7, 11, 15...).

The size of your square and making 365 is quite the dance to get a measurement you like. My squares are roughly 2.25 inches which will produce a lap blanket size . If you want yours to be bigger, then I would recommend you make 3 rounds or increase your hook size to help you make a square that is closer to 3 inches.

Originally I planned on making my blanket approx. 48" x 60" inches with 24 squares for the first row. My math was screwy so I've reconfigured it and will start with 16 to 18 squares for Row 1. This should give me a 36" x 46" blanket based on the size of my squares.

Here are some amounts to help get you started if you're trying to figure out how many squares you need. This is just a way to help you gauge. There are many combos to try.

16 squares width 18 squares width
23 squares height 20 squares height
(368 squares) (360 squares)

I'll keep you updated but I think this is a good start. I can easily add to the width later if necessary.
