Was in Montreal for Thanksgiving, left the hotel room to buy cigarettes I found myself taking part in a protest against the Canadian government, the protest was peaceful, loud and colourful, with many protesters chanting, blowing plastic horns, and banging pot lids and drums. I didn't understand a word but it was clear the people were united, it felt more like a festival than a protest; one big party, I was shocked when the hotel staff told me what it was about upon my return. Thank you people of Montreal, I loved the way you expressed yourselves.
