Hi all. A short video about the renovation of wooden floors. The floors began to creak, so I decided to open them and check what there is not. It turned out that the lag is very small, and exposed they were on legs, step between them was very great. So I decided to add another log and put them on a greater number of backups.
Exposed joists leveled with a laser level and a small bar. Fastened to the joists to the concrete using special screws in the concrete. To tighten screws for concrete it took a torx T30 bit and a drill with a gearbox.
Design my floor turned out simple:
concrete Foundation - roofing felt - lining from plywood - hardwood logs - top floor Board - on top of plywood with a thickness of 10mm and finishing coat (for me it was linoleum on the double-sided adhesive tape).
In the end the floors turned out very sturdy, no creaking.
In addition I made two grates for ventilation of the underground space.
