The One was a mediocre film. Don’t get me wrong, Jet Li is awesome and I loved the concept of a multiverse, the action was great and the score was memorable. Unfortunately, those are the only positives I have of this film. The directing from James Wong was average and so was the character development, pacing and editing. This film could have been great if the premise was executed correctly but it wasn’t. It was fairly entertaining though and I didn’t think it was a complete waste of time. This wasn’t a great Jet Li film so please recommend one where he’s actually awesome.
