When I joined Management Consulting at McKinsey in New York, time became an even more precious resource! Between early morning flights and unforgiving deadlines and the overall pressure of a fast-paced job... I yet again realised how CRITICAL it is to master the ability to manage the most valuable resource of all.

I often think Time is NOT equal to Money. It's much more valuable. You can earn lost money back, but can't say the same about time.

T.I.M.E! It's the biggest mystery of all. Linear, invisible, non-replenishable...it can be a friend or foe.
In my years as a working business professional trying to balance GMAT and MBA prep, and then as a 1 year MBA student at INSEAD managing a hectic schedule between studies, socialising, and job interviews (not to mention the administrative overhead of visas and travel while studying between two continents etc.)...I have relied on a few rules of thumb on time management.
