In this video, part four of the solar still experiments I continue the march onwards in an attempt to improve the process of solar distillation! In this video I explain the process of extracting drinking water from ocean water, being sure to explain to the viewers the reasoning behind my methods. After the previous experiment yielded no improvements in yield I decided it was best to move to the next version of the solar still. This version required me to add charcoal directly into the water of the variation itself in an attempt to improve evaporation! The control unit will remain the same. Will this help to improve the yield? I certainly hope so!
