Hello everyone. In this article and video we will see a very interesting example in which we will use the VLOOKUP function to return information from another Excel sheet, but we will go further, in addition to returning the data corresponding to the desired value, we will also return the corresponding image or photo to that record. I am sure that this example can be adapted to an interesting project and get the most out of it.

Using VLOOKUP to return data

Remember that the VLOOKUP function will help us to return information from another Excel sheet. Our searched value will be a 4-digit ID. The values to be returned are found in the sheet called Base. Up to this point I want to pay attention to the following, in the base sheet, in addition to having the data of the people, we will also store the name of the image corresponding to each record. The images must be in a folder called emoticons, and must be in the same location as the Excel file.
