With the immense success of Black Myth: Wukong, I figure it's as good a time as any to talk about this Hollywood produced kung-fu movie I watched growing up. This is The Forbidden Kingdom, which is loosely based on the Chinese story Journey to the West. It is famously known as Jackie Chan and Jet Li's first movie together. While this movie had the pieces to be amazing, typical Hollywood antics may have soured some of its appeal. Personally, I think it's still fun and entertaining.
