Gupteswar Mandir is dedicated to lord Shiva. The cave Shrine of Gupteswar nestles on a lush green hill, 58 K.m from Jeypore, and 80 Kms away from Koraput, amidst deep forest.The cave is a multi Chambered wonder, Gupteswar is also Popularly known as Gupta Kedra Shabari a Rocky Stream of great Scenic Beauty Flows by Gupteswar. It is believed that Lord Rama when the passed through this region on his way to Panchabati in Dandaka-ranya. Swarga dwara and other caves are still present near Gupteswar Temple. This place is one of the crowded tourist destination of Koraput as well as odisha. Koraput is a district amongst 30 districts of Odisha state with various numbers of places or location for tourist/ traveller across the state and neighbouring states like Chhattisgarh and Andra Pradesh. There are plenty of locations like Deomali/ Sabara Srikhetra / Kolab Dam / Duduma Waterfall / Gupteswar Temple etc. are attract more tourist to the district. Being one of the Hill station of the state Koraput enjoy a major numbers of tourist accross the state.
