Railway works on the DD Rome - Florence continue, especially at night. The entire AV line has been the protagonist of railway interventions throughout the year as you can see from these other videos also shot by me:

The ongoing work is due to the installation of the new ERTMS technology which has not only required the closure of the line at night, but also during the day in February and March. In recent months, work on the direct line has been carried out only at night (with the exception of the Orvieto - Chiusi section which will be closed until August 23 for night and day work)
In the first part of the video you can see all the work vehicles parked at the Capena Communications Post. In the second part of the video you can see the work vehicles that leave from the Capena depot and carry out night work on the line, you can also see the Unimat Combi tamping machine in action and you can also see the railway rehabilitation work.
At the transit of each night convoy I have reported the name of the convoy and a small image of it to help you better understand what it is.
