I brought my fly rod with me on a recent hike in the mountains around June Lake and I'm glad I did! There were a couple hungry brown trout and a little brook trout looking to take my nymphs. It's always exciting to see the different colors and patterns on these brown trout, from dazzling pink and red spots around one bend to all black spots around the next. Eastern Sierra fly fishing is the best!
