Welcome to my channel, where I take you on a journey through time as I delve into the fascinating world of historical men's fashion. In this video, I'll be showcasing my LARP (Live Action Role-Playing) costume inspired by the elegant and sophisticated clothing of the Victorian, Regency, and late 18th-century periods.

Join me as I explore the evolution of my original costume, tracing its development across various LARP events. I'll discuss the influences that led me to draw inspiration from the late 18th century through the regency era and into the early Victorian period. I've made a number of pieces for this costume; from a military-style jacket reminiscent of Sharpe's Rifles and a wool melton overcoat based on modern patterns altered to appear more historical - to an intricately hand-sewn shirt with mixed early Victorian and 18th century influences, silk and wool waistcoats based on a real historical pattern taken from an extant waistcoat from the 1790s, and a meticulously folded cravat, I've strived to capture the essence of these historical eras in my costume through a clever mix of modern and historical methods.

Not only did I create these stunning garments, but I also sourced and crafted a range of accessories, including leather holsters and a diary complete with ephemera, adding an authentic touch to my portrayal.
