This week marks the highest point in our lives: we’ve become fathers. After what felt like an eternity of waiting and overcoming countless legal obstacles, we’ve finally welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world. The joy we feel is beyond words—we truly are the richest couple on earth now.

In the days leading up to her arrival, the anticipation was almost overwhelming. We tried to keep our minds busy with long walks with the dogs, knowing that at any moment, our lives would change forever. Just days before her birth, we cleared the final legal hurdles, ensuring that everything was in place for her arrival.

We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to our incredible surrogate mother, her husband, and their three children. Their support throughout this journey has been nothing short of amazing. The selflessness and love it takes to be a surrogate mother is a gift we will cherish forever. We also want to acknowledge our egg donor, who gave us the smallest but greatest gift of all—half of the genetic makeup of our precious daughter.

Bringing our baby girl home was a surreal experience. Suddenly, we were responsible for feeding and caring for this tiny new life, but we think we’ve managed quite well so far. Now, as we embark on this new journey as fathers, we know that nothing will ever be the same—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
