The Muppet Christmas Carol was released in 1992 without much fanfare but it is actually one of the best adaptations of the classic Charles Dickens novel of A Christmas Carol. The Muppet team along with Michael Caine understood the dreary and dark nature of Victorian England while capturing the lightheartedness of the Christmas holiday.
