A semi-long walk from Shinobazu Pond (Shinobazu-ike) to Ueno Park, past the Tokyo National Museum and the International Library of Children's Literature, before finally reaching JR Uguisudani station.
Shinobazu Pond turned out to be frequented by black-headed gulls (both in summer and winter plumage), starlings, cormorants and other winged and feathered visitors in addition to all the humans. Some were more loud than others.
