Had seen this car and caravan acting suspiciously on the 14-02-20 so decided to keep the video of them. They were crawling along the old route of the A6. I thought it a bit odd to be out with a caravan when weather warnings were in force due to a storm for the following 2 days and where they were in the High Peak area they were more likely to have it blown away. The caravan had mould on it the jockey wheel had been removed and the electric cable was dragging on the ground, so no lights. There was of course no number plate. A few days later i see it has been dumped at the side of the A6 in Matlock. I telephone the local council who says they have been told of the caravan been abandoned. When i offer them the registration number of the towing vehicle and this video they refuse to take it telling me that i have to report it to the Police. So i contact the Police to be told that it is a council matter as it would be classed as Fly Tipping. WTF. So here is that video maybe someone from DERBYSHIRE DALES DISTRICT COUNCIL will wake up and take notice.
