For 2019 Ducati have facelifted their most successful motorcycle of modern times, the Ducati Scrambler! The Scrambler was introduced in 2015 and has been a massive success story!
Ducati have very sensibly left the chassis, frame and 803 cc, 72 bhp engine unchanged for the 2019 bike. Instead Ducati have chosen in response to their riders and fine tune a few important aspects to improve the rider experience. This includes an LED daytime running light, cornering ABS, an upgraded display with gear position indicator, fuel gauge, and new switchgear which also includes self-cancelling indicators. There are some small cosmetic changes, but the Scrambler recipe remains very true to the original. There have been further subtle changes to the refinement too. Ducati have slightly softened the suspension and introduced a new wider seat with a more dense foam filling, meaning any rider can find the optimal seating position.

All these changes mean that Ducati have decided to hike the pricing for the new Scrambler this year, with the entry level Ducati Scrambler Icon starting at £ 8,150. Here at Intermot, Ducati are also exhibiting the new Scrambler Full Throttle - £9100, Desert Sled £9800 and Café Racer - £9700. None of which would be describes as cheap, but we all agree they look fantastic!!
