#USMC #AV8Harrier #Aerowephile

The USMC VMA-223 squadron (Bulldogs) from MCAS Cherry Point delivered a McDonnell Douglas/BAE Systems AV-8B+ Harrier II to the Hickory Aviation Museum to add to their ever-expanding aircraft collection. A TAV-8B Harrier trainer joined the AV-8B+ Harrier as they performed flybys and touch-and-go landings. The AV-8B+ Harrier received a water cannon salute as it shut its Rolls-Royce Pegasus Turbofan engine down for the last time and was officially retired to the Hickory Aviation Museum.
