DSO152: A great tool to learn electronics

If you're into electronics, oscilloscopes are an important tool in developing and learning how fundamental blocks work and how they deal with each other.

Traditional oscilloscopes are very expensive, and quite a few times, their cost will far exceed the cost of the project. However, to the relief of electronic enthusiasts, there are cheaper, single channel alternatives which one can get for a few thousand INR or 20-30 odd USDs. And, DSO152 is one of them.

It is also an oscilloscope, but it is battery operated and fits in your pocket, features that even the most expensive of scopes cannot match. Additionally, it can measure up to 800Vpp (with 1l0x probe), up to 20kHz and has digital readouts.


While the measuring capabilities come nowwhere close to what proper oscilloscopes offer, it is a big improvement over the DSO138 which had been my workhorse for a long time.
