In this video, directly from our long-term client in Limena PD, Italy, a single operator manages the production of ferrules with a newly installed Faccin 4-Roll Rolling System that is integrated with the welding workstation. It completely meets the client’s requirement for higher productivity and bigger rolling capacity.

The fully automatic CNC plate rolling installation is composed of:

• 4-roll plate rolling machine model 4HEL
• Full Siemens CNC control able to manage the whole system, Industry 4.0 ready and compliant.
• Automatic plate loading system
• Motorised infeed table with centring device
• Anti-deflection feature for both top and pinching roll
• Central and lateral hydraulic arm for ferrule support
• Automatic ferrule ejector
• Integration with the welding station

Rolling capacity: up to 2000x6000x18mm

ELBI S.p.A. is a leader in the manufacturing of thermo-hydraulics equipment, such as heating systems, booster pump applications, storage, and treatment of water.

This new installation has replaced a Faccin system that had worked continuously for 27 years in the same location.
