Like many of Franz Liszt's works, Am Grabe Richard Wagner's ( S. 267) also has a Preface/Avant Propos written by the composer. This is, strictly speaking, obligatory for a complete performance of the work. In this rendition, Susanne Sperrhake lends her voice to the composer, Lars David Kellner plays the piece - set “for organ or harmonium” - on a suction wind harmonium by Mannborg.
