In episode 13 I explored the world's largest city to the fullest extent, visiting the Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, Shinjuku, a camera & watch store, Shibuya Crossing & Sky, and finally Omoide Yokucho. Tokyo is a place that I had dreamt of visiting for soooo long, and I had many trips fully booked and regrettably cancelled due to Covid. Therefore, to finally get to explore the city and country is surreal.

As a kid I had such a fascination about the world, and Tokyo in many ways stood at the epicenter of that fascination. I used to stare at photos of the Shibuya Crossing in elementary school, dreaming about a world that was so so far away. And now I finally got to experience that world.

If you don't tap into how greatly you once wanted something, experiencing it in real life can lose its meaning. Reflecting back on my aspirations as a child always inflects gratitude in my present self.
