Once the summer Rest house of the Rulers of Jaipur, it was a real castle in the past and was converted in to a hotel by RTDC. It offers a scenic view of jungle and Aravali hills of Ranthmbore. Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India. The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 130 km from Jaipur.

Once considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, today the Ranthambore National Park terrain is a major wildlife tourist attraction that has drawn the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers.



रणथंबोर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान उत्तर भारत के बड़े उद्यानों में से एक है। यह जयपुर से १३० किलोमीटर दक्षिण और कोटा से ११० किलोमीटर उत्तर-पूर्व में राजस्थान के दक्षिणी जिले सवाई माधोपुर में स्थित है। इसका निकटतम रेलवे स्टेशन और कस्बा सवाई माधोपुर यहाँ से ११ किलोमीटर दूरी पर स्थित है। रणथंभौर को भारत सरकार द्वारा 1955 में सवाई माधोपुर खेल अभयारण्य के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था और 1973 में प्रोजेक्ट टाइगर रिजर्व में से एक घोषित किया गया था। 1 नवंबर 1980 को रणथंभौर एक राष्ट्रीय उद्यान बन गया। 1984 में, समीप के ही जंगलों को सवाई मान सिंह अभ्यारण्य और केलादेवी अभयारण्य घोषित किया गया। 1992 में, उत्तर में निकटवर्ती केलादेवी अभयारण्य और दक्षिण में सवाई मानसिंह अभयारण्य सहित अन्य जंगलों को शामिल करने के लिए टाइगर रिजर्व का विस्तार किया गया। आज यह 1334 वर्ग किमी के क्षेत्र को आच्छादित करता है
