The Saturday Picture Show from 3rd May 1986, presented by Mark Curry and Cheryl Baker.

Children's TV show broadcast live from BBC TV Studios on Oxford Road in Manchester.

Some sections edited out due to copywrite hits on first attempt to upload entire show.

I was in the audience with my father and a group of children from Broken Cross County Primary School in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

(No mention of Frank Sidebottom!)

Cheryl Baker and Mark Curry present a live, fast-moving and fun-filled package of entertainment for summer Saturdays.

Today the Picture Show gets a French accent when Mark and Cheryl visit Paris. See what happens when Cheryl gets her portrait painted, find out what is at the top of the Eiffel Tower and look round one of the world's biggest record shops. Join Mark on a trip to a fabulous new museum and see 45 television channels all at once.
There's an up-to-the-minute look at the French charts and Gary Davies is around with the hottest news from the world of pop and as well as chatting to some star guests.
"Allo.'Allo - what's all this then?' - Mark dons his chefs hat to cook up some super French food which you can make too, and there's a surprise guest dropping in to test it. Bored, fed-up or broke? - every week the Picture Show brings you ideas to help brighten the weekend - things to make or do, places to go and competitions to win.
Plus, there's the best in music and the funniest cartoons.
