From Addiction to Enduroman .. How Did Paul MAKE IT HAPPEN?

"Unknown to many people I spent 20 years battling with addiction. From the age of 15 to 35 I drank destructively. I first sought help for my addiction at the age of 21 but I was to be 35 before I put my glass down for the last time. Since then, as part of my recovery I have raised over £54,000 for charities through a series of extreme endurance events. This culminated in being one of only 21 people to have completed the Arch to Arc, the world’s hardest triathlon in September this year. I also became the oldest person ever to succeed at the event"

Paul is the Fundraising and Marketing Director of Aspire, a charity that helps people with spinal cord injury move from injury to independence. Paul has worked in charities for 12 years but before that had a career in media, the majority of which was spent at IPC Magazines, the UK’s largest consumer magazine publisher. Paul is married with 3 children.
