In this video, I begin constructing a Norse/Art Nouveau-style headboard for the bed in my hobbit hole. I am collaborating with 2 very talented women for this project. Viktoria, a metalwork designer based in Ukraine, and Aimie, a local blacksmith whom I have known for well over a decade. This project combines several disciplines, including sketch artistry, blacksmithing, wood carving, and repousse.
