This video was filmed 4th of April, that's why trout were biting so slow and gently. My aim was try to catch trout on micro lures while using XUL rod and super thin #0.25PE line. Everything worked very well and further in warmer weather will work just better.
Line was way too thin and too weak, would recommend to use about #0.4 PE if that's from YGK (because every manufacturer have different understanding in thickness). Potentially you could use these super thin lines only if you have just small trout in your river and water flow is not strong.
Some lures I used were too heavy for this rod but I wanted to test it. Of course I was super careful. And if you will use heavier lures than should be - be super careful, it's all on you. NOT RECOMMENDED.
