More No Gi Judo, this time in the form of a big, naughty Harai Goshi!!

Regardless of the Judogi, Koshi Waza is one of my favourite groups of throws to use and Harai Goshi is up there as one of my favourite throws (   • My Top 5 Throws...and Why  ).

I like to do a No Gi Harai Goshi from either the over hook or under hook grip, but prefer the under hook when fighting shorter opponents because I like the lift I'm able to get from underneath.

Harai Goshi is also a great throw to do if your opponent shoots for the single leg...either as an instant reaction or as a wait and go.
