At 12:01 p.m. on 3/6/4, Cumby, TX, conducted their monthly siren test. I decided to make the long drive over for the chance to see a Whelen 3000 go off. I was a little disappointed at the very short testing time, but it was still fun. This thing is louder than a 4008, but not as loud as I was expecting. Overall, it was still a really fun test. For some reason, I could very faintly hear the activation tones even though I didn't have a scanner.
