In March of 2020, we were given orders to shelter in place due to the COVID-19 virus. I decided to use this time to work on a full split (Hanumanasana). This is a pose i've always struggled with, and wanted to dedicate more time to. I recorded my progress every night, and the whole process took me 44 days, with an additional 3 days off (47 days total). Before recording each evening, I 'd warm up with half hero pose, lizard pose, half split, and single leg forward fold. I would also mix in long pyramid pose, and standing split. If beginning your journey into a full split is something you've always wanted to do, I hope this video encourages you to go for it!
