Rachel Yiu Sze-wan's speech at the Grand Finals of the Hong Federation of Youth Groups Standard Chartered Hong Kong Public Speaking Contest 2011.

Rachel, a student at SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School, was the 2nd-runner up in the senior division (this year, there were 1,453 senior secondary school students taking part in the competition).

Competitors in the grand final round had to speak on a given topic for three minutes and then give impromptu answers to two questions (with each answer taking less than one minute).

The topic for students in th senior division concerned the Hong Kong government's proposed cash handout of 6,000 to every permanent resident over the age of 18.
