In this session, I look at how descriptive statistics can be used to summarize and understand data in finance and investing, starting with time series data of stock & bond returns between 1928 and 2020, moving on to cross sectional differences in price earnings ratios for US stocks at the start of 2021 and costs of capital across US & global companies in January 2021 and ending with an analysis of dividend yields across global companies.
